What happens if I move mortgages?

Some providers will allow you to move your mortgage protection policies to a new mortgage but not all, so you must check. This is one of the advantages of choosing income protection insurance over mortgage payment protection as income protection has the flexibility to allow you to move or change mortgage providers without the need to take out a new policy.
